Question to the masty's: with the collapse of verification and moderation on the bird site, how easy would it be for a bad actor to load a tweet with a seemingly valid hyperlink with a link that downloads malware?

@mjbarton Considering how Twitter already masks most links into its "t.co" shortener, extremely easy.

As I understand it, there are *already* high profile examples, including a verified account pretending to be Twitter itself that was pushing a crypto scam.
