@mur2501 @kettlevoid it's a bit far south for penguins... or north rather, since penguins are in the antarctic... there used to be some polar bears at one point up north but you have to go to Svalbard for those now. you can't go outside of town without bringing a gun though. it's illegal. polar bears aren't afraid of people and will gladly eat you if they're hungry.

I read the book of the journey of the Endurance with the captain Ernest Shakleton while he tried to cross Antarctica from one end to other but got stranded on an island eventually for 2 years.
