I am finding Icelandic very much easier then French :ablobaww:

@mur2501 @thor i did french in middle school - removed every trace of it the moment i passed the final exam.

I don't know why they consider French beautiful and German as harsh and hard

@mur2501 @thor no fucking idea. i should have chosen espanol. At least the professor was great.

@mur2501
My native language is French (but I'm Canadian), and German does sound harsh to my ears, guttural. Not saying I don't like it though! I've never learned it.

I tried to learn Italian 20 years ago. Now that's a melodious language. Unfortunately I had no opportunity to practice it, and I abandoned soon after.

In high school we learned English, and I never had one good teacher. I learned it on my own from books and movies.

@mur2501 @kettlevoid i'm surprised you can read any of it at all, save for the loan words

@thor @mur2501 i mean, it's slightly difficult to read but it's more like a logo - but the meaning? it could be insulting me, i wouldn't know

@thor @kettlevoid
I can't read the symbols I don't know
But google translate can :ablobcatwink:
