@immortalzen
ucas?
@mur2501 university and college admissions service. I am applying for uni this year
@immortalzen
Me too ![]()
Though it should have been happened 4 months ago ![]()
But my state is slow in this stuffs ![]()
@mur2501 ooo what are you going to study?
@immortalzen
Well Engineering
Probably in Computer Science and IT ![]()
@immortalzen
Yeah all engineers live the same shitty life
Me & @Ted
What about you?
@nawi @Ted @immortalzen
I don't know this problem is in Europe but here in India we have engineers in surplus so there are many engineers sitting around jobless.
@nawi
Yeah it is
That's why more then half the engineers here are into jobs which have no relation to engineering.
Hence it has become a meme that engineers can do anything.
@Ted @immortalzen
@nawi
That's what other half of the Engineers are doing. Teaching in coaching classes to make more Engineers who would be jobless
Coaching classes are private institutions which students pay hefty sums to take classes from especially for the tons of entrance examinations in this country.
In total private classes make here $40 billion each year and also shows how turd is the indian education system.
@Ted @immortalzen
@mur2501 zoology! =D
@immortalzen
I would like to jump in that ![]()
@mur2501 I love how broad it is as a subject, theres always more to discover
@immortalzen
I just love all animals ![]()
I study the snakes and other animals here ![]()
@nawi @immortalzen
I didn't took biology in the 2 years of junior college ![]()
@nawi
I can learn biology by myself no big deal.
But still I can't take admissions into any courses or degrees pertaining to biology. In India the paperwork is more important then the reality. @immortalzen
@nawi
Yeah corruption is always a way here ![]()
Anyway zoology doesn't have jobs here besides teaching @immortalzen
@nawi
The thing is why I would do zoology through the colleges if I can just self learn it in the right way.
Anyway the education system here will also make zoology turd. It's better to do it by self. @immortalzen
@nawi
The Higher Secondary Level certificate is the result of the 2 years of Junior college which is basically baseline required for any college admission here.
