@mur2501 Not really relevant to this story. Just letting you know.

@Hyolobrika @mur2501 Interesting! I’ve always liked their reporting, but the site did seem a tad sus…

@realcaseyrollins @Hyolobrika
As you can see easily it hardly has news about any of the sensitive topics regarding China
But anyway I like it casual reports and stuffs regarding small matters.

@mur2501 @Hyolobrika Yes, the case is much the same for outlets like @ajenews and @RT

@realcaseyrollins @mur2501 Or my own country's @BBCNews, that is funded through a government initiative (TV licencing).
And even if they are privately funded, they can still have corporate backers that also introduce bias. Just a different kind of bias.

@Hyolobrika @realcaseyrollins
I think for UK, The Telegraph is the more government leaning news outlet 🤔

@mur2501 @realcaseyrollins Well, I've heard it's more right-leaning, and we have a fairly right-wing government in power at the moment iirc. So that might be why.

@realcaseyrollins @mur2501 What did you notice that seemed sus?

@Hyolobrika @mur2501 I can’t pinpoint what it was exactly, I just got a subconscious feeling

@Hyolobrika
Yup I know that already 🙃
No media channels in China are out of the control of CCP (which is not really surprising )
