if you are on windows 10 then maybe your mic is disabled from the system
@mur2501 In Windows and Gentoo both, my microphone working just fine in other programs: I can talk to my sibling just fine. It is just in zoom that it doesn't detect my mic at all. :)

@mur2501 Yeps. I have already exhausted options :) it is okay though, I messaged the instructor and we're not doing any interactivity today.

Probably you should on the audio input devices available on tue system and which one is selected in zoom.
@mur2501 I said it doesn't even detect it, like it thinks nothing is there. :P I've tried replugging things.
@mur2501 It is something that zoom will resolve itself, I'm sure. It's not the first time this pile of shit has broken and fixed itself later.

It do looks like a zoom related problem, my classes happen on google meet instead of zoom which doesn't have much problems.
@mur2501 Yes, zoom is a flaming pile of shit that I wish I didn't have to use. This and WhatsApp. I had to get it just for this godforsaken class.
