The identifier is seen as the same for me across browsers.
But, it gets somethings wrong!
It claims that a certain set of softwares are installed on my PC, but a few of them are wrong (Spotify and Skype) , I don't have them on my PC! 🤷
@strawberryfieldsforever @StrawberryShortcake @The_Quantum_Alpha you do not have installed them, it is enough that your system reacts to the scheme. There could be schemes registered in your system, without having the software on it

Why would some schemes be registered if I never installed/downloaded the software?

You are using Windows, skype comes preinstalled hence it is in the registry.

But, I don't have skype pre-installed! There's no such directory at all!
And then, there is the crappy Spotify!
I hardly used it on my browser, forget installing it!
But it still shows that it's installed! 😳
