We have kind of basic stuffs or overview of this in 4th or 5th semester (currently I am in 2nd sem) but real cmos (microprocessor) designing is an indepth requiring expert knowledge and experience with both computer/software engineering as well as and more importantly Electrical/Electronics Engineering as practically making feasible design of an IC isn't just about knowing the software logical side we also have to understand the electrical limitations and various effects which hinder the design.

I have learned computer science, geography, history, etc on my own since years, doesn't matters college gives courses or not, I am independent when it comes to learning I like it that way as Indian education system is in crumbles.
