In programming, there are different styles for naming variables, such as:
camelCase
PascalCase
underscore_case
hyphenated-case
I don't know why "underscore case" and "hyphenated case" are referred to as "cases", as they don't have anything to do with upper/lowercase letters.
Instead of "hyphenated case", some people refer to it as "kebab case", because when you hyphenate a lot of words together:
as-i-am-doing-now
it resembles food being stabbed by a skewer (with some extra imagination, maybe)
