@NicoleCRust I'm going with animal to animal (or person to person) variability. I think we don't use nearly high enough N to come close to understanding even small nervous systems!

@neuroecology @NicoleCRust Seconding this. I would also add, in human neuro research, the lack of diversity. Lots of studies include mainly Western college students.
