With a November birthday I get some ... fun? gifts.
Last night I went to bed happy. Woke up today to birthday wishes and the revelation that my state has:
- voted down a universal right to health care
- voted down an amendment to ban (checks notes) slavery
Can I go back to bed and wake up in a sane state please?

@peterdrake Vote had the yes behind when I wrote my original note ... but that such a high %age voted no regardless is hugely depressing.
