Today's project: taking views from Blender and "colorizing" them for potential use in counter sheets.
@mj12games I would buy a huge set of thick, die-cut counters. Much cheaper, faster, and easier to store than miniatures, like Pathfinder's pawns or BattleTech's standees.
@peterdrake Which would be preferable? Squares or hexagons?

@mj12games Hmm, tough call. I'm gonna go with squares, so I can get my fingers in between them in crowded battles.
The rectangular counters seen in wet navy games have a certain appeal, too, depending on the shape of the ship.
An advantage of automatically generating your counters from Blender or whatever is that you might be able to automate providing a vast variety of livery, hull numbers, etc.
@peterdrake Not sure about "automate." ATM I still have to "paint" them.
