The left (perhaps especially the academic left) loves to have focus groups on inclusiveness and wring our hands about whether we're incorporating sufficiently diverse viewpoints. We agonize about whether we're kind enough and fair enough.

Factional fights on the Right tend to be about who is more in accordance with conservative principles or who is more in accordance with the data.

You can see this is in the arguments about vaccines. One side accuses the other of ignoring the VAERS database and the other accuses the first side of ignoring the ONS database.
