Christmas Day 5 years ago - pic is from one week later.
December 2017 - Forest had a bad dose of IVDD, barely noticeable on Dec. 23rd, saw a vet (sports injury specialist) on the 24th and spent the next 8 weeks with absolute cage rest.
IVDD, even when seemingly overcome, is a life long condition and requires extra caution as well as notifying any new vet of this condition.

@fae2535 Our dog #Violet had a serious bout of IVDD when she was young and had to have surgery. Many years later, she has a slight limp at medium speed, but you can't tell when she's walking or sprinting. She still wants to parkour sometimes, so we have little staircases next to all the furniture to reduce impact.
