@ravisambamurthy @mastodonindians There's a fascinating image processing algorithm for solving this "pesky tourist problem": take a series of pictures (from a tripod-mounted camera for consistency) and take the modal (most common) value of each pixel.
(In this case, you probably don't want to remove the "tourist".)
@peterdrake Awesome. Not applicable here, but there are situations where there are a never ending stream of tourists obstructing the subject you want to shoot. Will explore this for such scenarios. @mastodonindians
