I’ve been thinking about this brave new world of “choose your programming language” and wondering if it will trim down some of the redundant vocabulary:
getters and setters
accessors and mutators
“defs” and functions
methods etc.
or am I being too grumpy about having learned multiple languages and inevitability getting them mixed up?
There is enough vocabulary in CS why have so much of it duplicated and triplicated?

@futurebird Much more annoyingly, each tech company needs a different name for each bit of technology or UI. Also, they have to change it every few years.
