@futurebird So, besides the obvious radiation exposure, does it overheat and explode if they get that cap on or something? Or is this more of a "get the cap on to stop exposure so you might live longer" thing?
The "demon core" was designed to test and calculate thresholds for criticality in bombs. So, bringing it closer to exploding, gathering data, getting a better understanding of exactly how fast that process happened.
