There's some climate graphs coming out this month that I wish I could show everyone who told me I was over-reacting twenty years ago. Maybe if we weren't over-reacting then, our proposals for action now aren't so radical either?

GOP (shoving fossil fuel money into their pockets): A Badness Number of 5? That's ridiculous alarmism! Thousands of you are clearly conspiring (with unheard-of opsec) to get more grant money! You wealthy academics!
Five years later: Sensor readings show that the Badness Number is now 8.
