I've recently installed #ubuntu on a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet.
I can scroll using either the stylus or the touchpad on an attached keyboard, but I can't find any way to scroll using just my fingers on the touchscreen. Does anybody know how to do this?
@peterdrake you need to install the linux surface kernel:
@srueegger I already did that. It does know about the touchscreen. I can scroll with a stylus (at the edge of a window) and select things with a finger. I just can't scroll with fingers. Can you?
@peterdrake yes i can. Whe. You Logout. And at the Login Screen after you choose your user you have "gear" symbol on the bottom right.
make sure that “Ubuntu session” and not “Ubuntu with x.org/x11” is selected.
Touch does not work with X11.
