Is everyone aware of the sea-level rise we are causing now? 1 meter will be catastrophic for many coastal cities and regions.
At 2 °C warming we comit the world to a long-term rise by 8-13 meters until the ice sheets come to a new equilibrium. Source: ipcc.ch

What does this mean of you süell it out. What does it mean for people in which regions, which cities or rural areas, in detail? Many, including me, have no actual clue why sea level rise should be a concern. Seems such a long way off that surely, there's enough time to pack up and move inland.
