How many of the 10 millions of persons living in the urban area of Paris do you think have climbed the Eiffel Tower? 😁
But many of them spend a lot of money to visit the Tower of London!
Actually it wouldn't be bad to "visit" the place where we live using a tourist guide.

The way it often works is you don't bother go until you have guests visiting, and the think "well I can't just take them around to my local haunts, I've got to show them the sights". And then you go and see some of these things with them for the first time yourself.
