Fox News reaches a last-minute settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, which accused it of pushing conspiracies that harmed the company.

The Fox News settlement with Dominion is top news on the CNN website, but nowhere to be found (yet) at Fox News.

"We acknowledge the court's rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false," says Fox News in a statement.
"This settlement reflects Fox's continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards. We are hopeful that our decision to resolve this dispute with Dominion amicably, instead of the acrimony of a divisive trial, allows the country to move forward from these issues."

@w7voa I hope that the settlement requires them to be more specific about which claims were false.

@not2b @w7voa

Hell, I hope (wish) the settlement requires a detailed confession to be reported in number, placement and detail to the instances of the original lies. And preferably delivered by the original iiars.

@pieist @w7voa Unfortunately, too many settlements let the guilty party just get away with paying nothing but money, and sometimes in exchange for silence. But we can hope. Also, Smartmatic's case is next.

@not2b @w7voa Well we know Dominion hasn't agreed to silence, they're not being the least bit restrained, treating the settlement as a confession and using the word "lied" quite freely.
