When I was in my mid-teens (yes I'm that old) there was a moment when this song was so popular that it'd often be playing, out of sync obviously, on more than one station at once, even in our fairly small market. So if we were out cruising, we'd had this little game where you had to quickly punch up the other station it was playing on in order to avoid hearing the words "Shadow Dancing".
