@rpilocator @Raspberry_Pi I preordered from Sparkfun when they first announced the Pi 5 and have yet to receive one, order still shows as backordered. I can't say I agree with this. Post-COVID maybe but pre-COVID Pi launches went better, and pretty much all of Pi's products launched pre-COVID. I was able to pick up a Pi 4 in store at Micro Center soon after launch and they had a full shelf of them.
@CalcProgrammer1 @Raspberry_Pi I hate knocking on sellers because, overall, they do a pretty good job. But I have to say, Sparkfun is not great dealing with high volume items. Not the first time time have messed up/fallen behind on high volume items. They definitely need better communication with customers.
Again, they make great stuff, but they are not perfect
