Shopkeeper across the road has taken to using his SUV parked outside the shop as his office. He sits in it, with the diesel engine idling, for about an hour every evening.
@elizatech I think this is something that could definitely use an education campaign. Judging by the number of people who do this outside schools and in GAA club car parks, I'm convinced they are oblivious to the damage it causes.

Catholic school a block from my house has a line of cars every afternoon to pick up kids in an organized queue thar goes through their asphalt-paved schoolyard. That's dozens of SUVS with their engines running for a good half hour or so. Would it kill them to park on the street half a block away and walk back to get their kid?
