I feel like there should be more liveblogging of mundane events.

Like liveblog your work like it's some weird thing you're just learning about:

"Okay, so I'm sitting down at my desk or whatever. There's like, this program where I have to enter in words or codes or something? Ugh. This is SO confusing. I'm just having coffee and staring off into space right now. Maybe I'll work later, dunno."

I'm supposed to write in "golang." It's like a language which is based on the game Go, which I think the Chinese invented or something. It's like chess, except you have only colored circle pieces.

I looked up the rules of Go, but I can't talk to a database yet. Still working on that and having coffee. Day is pretty nice, though! I'm listening to some old triphop station on YouTube.

Does anyone know if black or white goes first in Go?

My boss is asking me when I'll complete the WidgetSDK component. Oh, right, I think I said I'd have that done. I mean, I probably will.

Soon as I figure out how to start playing Go.

And then figure out what the hell that has to do with these codes I'm supposed to use.

"if err != nil" seems to be pretty popular in what I've reviewed so far, but it hasn't helped my game strategy yet.

@oliphant the audience of Go Devs who are going to appreciate this thread is probably tiny, but as one, I love it!
