@TomLarrow I was getting two identical heavy items at a self check out, so I scanned the first one twice, then put the second one on the shelf, without scanning, and the system flagged me. So the system was "smart" enough to see that I had to put something it onto the shelf without scanning it, but not smart enough to notice that this brought the weight into line with what it should've had at that point. Ugh.
