Elon Musk plans to reinstate nearly ALL previously banned Twitter accounts — to the alarm of activists and online trust and safety experts. The decision will have dangerous consequences, particularly for vulnerable communities. washingtonpost.com/technology/ #twitter #twittermigration #tech #technology #elon #TwitterMigrate

Let's try to imagine advertisers this will repel, vs. advertisers it will attract. I do not think car companies (Except Tesla), aerospace companies (except SpaceX), streaming services (except porn), or anything aiming for families to advertise.

On the other hand, I could see Fox news, Truth Social, arms manufacturers, tobacco, gambling sites, going for it. Supplements, like Alex Jones will go there. Definitely, anyone regulated by the ATF would find it attractive.

@rrb @taylorlorenz Already seen some very weird ads, e.g. by people who are casting doubt on scientific consensuses (consensi?)

@TFFPrisoner @taylorlorenz

Exactly. Any type of snake oil would be drawn to this remaining cesspool. This could be a boon to the FTC as a honeypot for swindlers.

@rrb @taylorlorenz Trump stands to lose a lot of money if he starts posting on Twitter. DWAC stock will tank. His cult members are going to follow stay on TS
