I wonder how many professors will resign or retire now due to guns? We moved across the country to get our last ten years in someplace with fewer guns.
A graduate student shot and killed his Professor today on a beautiful campus in a state with such lax gun laws that any 18 year old can go buy one.

You could look at info on the Johns Hopkins Center for Prevention of Gun Violence (Bloomberg School of Public Health) web page. They have lots of interesting research and do advocacy. I am particularly impressed by one staffer working to help state governments pass red flag laws (ERPO).
It is disgusting that anyone could vote against ERPOs, as if there were any value to letting people identified as extreme risks to themselves and/or others retain firearm possession.
