Hi Mastodon peeps what is the jankiest production system you’ve ever encountered? For me it was expecting a customer database to have been stored in a CRM and it was just a bunch of spreadsheets.

@carnage4life I inherited responsibilities for a system that used visual source safe as its database. It was constantly getting corrupted and I had to run the repair process. Sometimes it couldn't be repaired and we just lost the data a partial days worth of data.
