Took my 10yo on a bike ride today. I explained that as you pass walkers, you need to yell out "passing on the left."

After we passed a few folks, it was clear this wasn't happening. When I asked why, the answer was, "I've got too much social anxiety to yell that at strangers."

I, unfortunately, 100% get that...
