Looks like you need a customized server for that, I don't think todon.nl is a customized server?
@sergeant The mobile app needs to have support for it, most go by the standards set by vanilla Mastodon. Unless they also support other instance types like Akkoma, MissKey and such, then maybe they will have it available for you as well.
Quoting a post isn't Mastodon-specific.
