Not long ago white people discussed having same-race spaces because white women (and white men) were afraid of being in the same spaces as Black men. Then we moved to straight people being forced to shower with gay people. Today transphobic folks are using the same argument.

@rabbisandra Yeah, humans have a strong "grouping" instinct. For some this instinct (tribalism or pack instinct) seems to be very strong. It was surely useful for survival of small groups living in caves or villages. But in today's world it creates nothing but problems.
Fixing something that's a human instinct is not going to be easy.
