Hi! Some people are on server instances where the max char count is much higher than 500 chars. And it seems this is a hack or compile time option?
But.... is there a way I can do this with ActivityPub tools like WriteFreely or Plume and then embed my text from there into a toot here? Or do I need to find (or create) an instance for this purpose?

@ParanoidFactoid Post size is an admin option on each server. Some are 500 chars but I've seen 1k and 2k. My instance is set to 65k which is one reason I moved to it.
