I'm fine now in the restaurant kitchen environment where there's high noise and six people are shouting at once. That was totally out of the question for me for most of my life. Now it doesn't bother me and I even pick up what they're saying to someone else. They walk up to me and I say, "You need a tomato plate, right?" And they're like "What? How did you know that?" I picked up what they said to someone else across the kitchen. It's fun.
