@TruthSandwich @shuttersparks @jimstewartson genuine question: are space X and Tesla’s and PayPal’s massive success entirely in spite of Musk? It was said anecdotally that he “slept on the floor of the assembly line” or some such. I do not like Musk, like at all. Just wondering if he’s due any credit for the success of those companies. (And I don’t like him so not interested in reading up on him so I guess this is me being lazy.)

He didn't invent PayPal.
He isn't the brains behind SpaceX.
He didn't invent Tesla Motorcars.
He made fortuitous choices.
