It isn't "winter" until it's cold enough to need gloves just to go fill the bird feeders. A very chilly/cold minus 15 degrees Fahrenheit out this morning. #Winterwonderland #Minnesotawinters

@blaidddrwg Hmm, yes, -15F is really cold. Last Saturday / Sunday we had sustained +1F with wind so chill around -20, and this area isn't used to it. Hah. I didn't like it either. My personal record is -23F with no wind in Minden, Nevada. Very interesting. Didn't like it.
We have four feeders out, each with four stations. All 16 positions are busy all day with sparrows and cardinals. We go through more than 20 pounds of feed each week. Sheesh.
