@ClaraListensprechen @shuttersparks @SrRochardBunson @sergio_101@mastodon.social@LGsMom@universeodon.com I spent almost six years of my life staring at a pair of them...about six months was a pair of R392s.
@Ralph058 @ClaraListensprechen@universeodon.com @SrRochardBunson @sergio_101 6 months at a pair, eh? Hmm. Military or listening station I'd say. ;-)
I wish I could say I've used one.
@shuttersparks @ClaraListensprechen @SrRochardBunson @sergio_101 It was with the 313th ASA Bn at Ft Hood...in the back of an M113. Rack originally went in the bomb bay of a RB47 (EB47?). Lt reviewing for DIRNSA said the system was great, if you had an MOS for midgets.
@Ralph058 @ClaraListensprechen@universeodon.com @SrRochardBunson @sergio_101 Yeah, having 2 radios and spending long hours with them sounds like intel.
@shuttersparks @ClaraListensprechen @SrRochardBunson @sergio_101 Search on the three numbers after my name as "058 MOS". Sounds like a good guess to me.
