"The lights have been on at a Massachusetts school for over a year because no one can turn them off"... "Ever since the software that runs it failed on Aug. 24, 2021, the lights in the Springfield suburbs school have been on continuously, costing taxpayers a small fortune." #software #failure #energy https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/lights-massachusetts-school-year-no-one-can-turn-rcna65611
@ai6yr This has to be a joke. It's beyond stupid. And these people are running a SCHOOL?
I mean, nobody at the school knows anyone with the basic smarts to fix this? Every parent is clueless? A basic fix could be achieved by any competent electronics hobbyist. No ham radio people around or anyone who knows one?
As a last resort, maybe call an electrician???
Sigh. Sadly, I'm not actually that surprised. smh. We're all doomed.
@shuttersparks You think?! Nuts.
