#Twitter has raised the post character limit to 4000 characters for Blue subs. Really, #Mastodon should make it easy to configure this limit. I've got it set to 20000 on mine, but that takes changing code and recompiling the server, which should be unnecessary.
@shuttersparks Pretty sure main code Mastodon has done this on purpose to impose a particular value system.
