Psst: The secret with smoke alarms & #cooking is to, if you have one, put your air purifier under the smoke alarm.
When it goes off, crank the air. Turns mine off within 5 seconds.

@snarkysteff Lol. I just pop mine off the ceiling and set it on a low shelf until I'm done. Probably not the best practice but I'm tired of it howling when I'm trying to sear a roast.
