(Apparently I have driven a bunch of people away discussing Bing chat/Sydney -- had a similar effect when I started talking about a possible pandemic in January of 2020.)
@ai6yr Had the same problem in 2020. At least they learned I wasn't exaggerating.
Most people don't want to hear negative stuff that might impact their lives. Me, I'm the opposite. I'm all about "forewarned is forearmed." What I don't know can hurt me.
@shuttersparks Yep, I am not surprised at all by that. I remember sitting an a dinner with extended family and mentioning that the thing in Wuhan was probably going to get here, and we needed to prepare (this is early Jan 2020) and I got the the "crossed arms"... "BUT WE HAVE A CRUISE IN MAY!"
