Will it tune? I’m thinking yes… I know that physical bonds and electrical ones are different but I bet if I could get close enough to the copper I could impedance match it. #WillItTune

@kb9ens Sure it will. It's a bit over 1/4 wave on 160 meters. It's all electrically bonded for lightning protection, so yeah, should work great. More broadband than a dipole because the element is so fat. A single wire from the base of the statue (top of the pedestal) down into the water should be an adquate counterpoise.
The one sticky part is the statue is well grounded so you may need a gamma match up the side a little ways. Lmao.
