Thing is if right wingers disagree with each other they will fight to the death, if left wingers disagree with each other they will talk shit on each others name privately and put up a united front.

So you see people seemingly agreeing with some heinous shit in public, via omission or silence. If they do have a disagreement with the heinous shit they are going behind each others back to get a supermajority and have their enemy unpersoned.

By that point in the conversation the right wingers will have already publicly and vehemently shot so many holes in each other (metaphorically) that any public good will and usefulness has been destroyed.
