So apparently Russia has placed an order to restore and modernize 800 T-62s (ancient Vietnam-era tank, requires an extra crew member, has thin armor, and uses a smaller round than the more modern ones).

If things were going alright in Ukraine, they never would have touched any of them. Yet another piece of evidence that not only are they running out of “modern” tanks, but they can’t produce new ones at a reasonable pace. Sanctions really did fuck them.
