It looks like China and some other countries have a neutral response to the Russian invasion at best..

We need to end countries pushing their "national interests" abroad. We should recognize that every country should have a place in science and industry.

The countries that want to strongarm the rest of the word are for powers, like the veto Russia used in the UN yesterday.

The opposition can be created in the powers that cannot or will not do so. That's smaller, less powerful countries, and countries who rely on economy more. Maybe the EU and China can align under the last.

This article by Jon Schwarz is saying different things than i am saying but attaching anyway 📌 theintercept.com/2022/02/26/uk Among other things mentions the idea of 3/5 are needed for a veto by permanent members instead of just one, like now.

Got pissed off about Ukraine narratives again.

NATO did expand, well the _UN_ is the organization intended for peace. Sort of.. also i wouldn't argue for putting all eggs in one basket.. But the choice made is clearly prioritizing national interests, not peace.

Furthermore, not really hearing about weapons companies having an interest in war much at all.

We have to face that the governments that represent us do not work effectively towards peace and safety at all.
