@cobratbq Personally, I use Chromium since it's open source and can be patched to run on musl. This is my default choice for all of my systems.

Brave is also good, adding greater cross-site isolation (if you can ignore the cryptocurrency stuff).

If you don't mind proprietary solutions, Chrome and Edge are both good choices; Chrome is just a branded Chromium with some Google features, and Edge includes an "Enhanced security mode" which disables JIT and applies other hardening.

@inference

I recently switch from chrome to Firefox, becuase they want to takedown ad blocker in the manifest v3, where Firefox said they still maintains some sort of ability to block ads.

Why I need ad blocker? Becuase YouTube slap 7 ads in a roll on my face during a 15 minutes long video.

@cobratbq

@skyblond @cobratbq Brave has built-in ad blocker which does not rely on Google's manifest framework.
@skyblond @cobratbq Yes, Brave gives you the security of Chromium-based, and manifest V3 does not affect it.
