Activity on mathstodon.xyz is growing. We’re looking for a few people to help handle moderation reports. We had about 50 reports last month.
We’re only looking for help with the easy stuff - spammers, hate speech, etc.
We are particularly looking for different perspectives: non-UK timezone, protected characteristics such as gender, ethnicity, sexuality different to ours.
If we know you, and you trust yourself to keep your cool, and you’d like to help, please get in touch.

@christianp @ColinTheMathmo I’d like to help with this. Do I have to belong to @mathstodon.xyz?
I’m a Mastodon newb, but I’ve posted a lot on the bird app: handles spradlig2 and spradlig.
@spradlig I think it would be awkward, although possible in theory, to assist with moderation even if not on this instance, but I think we'd prefer to have people who are here.
But we've got your name on the list for when we start to get this moving, thanks.
