the weird thing of seeing people simp and hope vs. just acknowledging nobody will ever love you and doing something else 
@icedquinn Neither of those are particularly good ideas IMO.
I know it's cliche and a lot of people don't like it (and maybe you've seen some of it) but this guy [1] helped me get my life together and deal with a lot of this sort of thing.

@swiley i haven't read peterson but i've read others. get fat stacks of cash and get swole, is typically what everyone says.

@icedquinn That's not quite right. (at least that's not exactly what he says.) He argues it isn't so much about being wealthy as it is being capable and competent.
Also there's a lot of other advice he has in general that help a lot.
