I'm baffled that there are no feature-rich libraries for properly parsing ip addresses in Node.js.

Sure, there are a couple that do basic parsing for v4 and v6 (ip-address or ipaddr.js), but I didn't find any packages that are able to work with comma separated lists (10.0.0.1, 10.0.0.2) and IP-ranges (10.0.0.1-2).

Is there a standardized protocol for this that I can dig into, or do you know of any libraries that can handle this?

@garritfra lists should probably be handled with split().foreach or so. Ranges should probably be CIDR although maybe node doesn't have libraries for that either.
